2023 Pull-A-Thon Team Fundraising Goal: $1,000.00

Pounds Pulled to-date: 0

Donations/Sponsorships Received to-date: $0

For over 30 years, WCLC has worked diligently to fulfill its mission to protect and care for environmentally significant land and water in Waukesha County for future generations. To date, we have protected over 3,100 acres of primary environmental corridor, undisturbed shoreline, pristine floating bog, globally imperiled oak ecosystems, and more.

Part of our stewardship initiatives involve removing invasive species to allow native species to flourish. This year, we’re calling on our dedicated volunteers to pull garlic mustard from Lakewood Farms Preserve. Without your help, Lakewood Farms would remain vulnerable to its persistent presence.

You’re invited to join us at our upcoming Pull-a-Thon workdays to learn more about invasive species in Waukesha County and how you can make an impact. No experience is necessary. It will be a fun-filled day in which our community can come together to learn new skills, enjoy the sunshine and fresh air, and nip a serious conservation challenge in the bud. Snacks, water, and free t-shirts will be provided. If you would like to contribute in another way, consider sponsoring our team with a donation. Every little bit counts, and each dollar contributed to the WCLC team will be used to restore and protect the sensitive natural communities of Waukesha County!

2023 scheduled Pull-A-Thon Workdays will soon be scheduled at our Lakewood Farms Preserve, Mukwonago, WI

Please contact Team Leader Allison Romero if you’re interested in joining a workday and for driving and parking directions. We look forward to seeing you!
