Continuing a 58-year legacy, Riveredge creates healthier human and natural communities by supporting conservation through education that awakens curiosity, engages the body, and explores connections to nature for all generations. This past year we reached beyond our 485 acres and into new communities to connect more than 11,000 youth to the benefits of nature. To support our mission and continued work, we are seeking volunteers to help us manage our invasive mustard populations. This year we will be focusing our efforts on the Mayhew Woods portion of Riveredge's property where the mustard population is abundant to say the least.

Join the Riveredge Nature Center Pull-A-Thon Team!  We won the trophy in 2016 and have our sights on another big win! 

Riveredge will host workdays on Friday, May 22nd 10am-4pm (timeslots: 10-12, 12-2, 2-4) and Saturday, May 30th 8:30-11:30am. Volunteers will join Riveredge staff for 2-3 hours of mustard pulling. All supplies will be provided! This opportunity is open to individuals and groups of up to 15 people at a time. Volunteers may be as young as 15 years old with supervision by an adult as well as a signed waiver for anyone under 18.

Volunteers interested in either of our workdays should register via the Riveredge program calendar. Pre-registration is required due to limited space.
